ACHILLES ADELAIDE
Welcome to Achilles Adelaide

About ACHILLES Adelaide
Achilles Adelaide Incorporated was established in October 2024 and is proudly run by volunteers. As a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, we are dedicated to making physical activity more accessible for people with a disability.
Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where athletes, guides, and supporters come together as a community. We strive to increase participation in physical activities by providing training opportunities, sponsorships, and social events.
Athletes with a disability can join our weekly training sessions, choosing to run or walk with the support of a guide. We also encourage participation in fun runs and other events, fostering confidence, independence, and a love for movement in a welcoming and inclusive space.
Want to get involved? Follow us on social media or join us at a training session! Come and try Achilles Adelaide and if you are keen to join us you can sign up here https://raceroster.com/events/2025/97022/achilles-adelaide-membership-2025

HISTORY

We meet every Saturday at 8:45 am for a 9:00 am start at the Rotunda in Glenelg, returning to the same location by 10:00 am.
To foster a sense of community, we’re introducing a monthly optional social coffee catch-up after training on the first Saturday of each month.

Our Partners & Supporters
Achilles Adelaide is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, meaning all donations are tax-deductible. Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive community where people with a disability can participate in physical activities with the guidance of volunteers.
We are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from Achilles Sydney and The Day Family Foundation, which has helped us establish Achilles Adelaide. However, as we continue to grow, we rely on the generosity of partners, sponsors, and supporters to ensure our sustainability and operational excellence.
Your support can make a real difference in helping us provide training opportunities, sponsorships, and inclusive events for our members. Whether through corporate partnerships, donations, or volunteering, every contribution helps us build a stronger, more inclusive community.
If you would like to support us, please get in touch—we’d love to hear from you!
