Bush

Hiking/trail running/bushwalking is an activity that is now a regular feature at Achilles Melbourne. Achilles Melbourne will be hitting the trails regularly throughout the year in partnership with Trail Bus tours. The Trail Bus provides tailored and curated trail run/hike opportunities. The Trail Bus run regular accessible tours for our members with vision impairment.

Hike difficulty varies from easy to difficult terrain and long/short distances. Distances are adjusted according to the terrain difficulty. Outings are usually from early morning until late afternoon on a weekend.

Past trips have included Bendigo, Bunyip state park, Kilcunda, Lysterfield lake and Bushranger’s Bay in the Mornington Peninsula.

We highly recommend that members have a good level of fitness before embarking on a hike/trail run with us.

To find out what the next tour is, join our mailing list to find out details in our newsletter, or contact us at melbourne@achillesaustralia.org.au
